The Baobab Foundation, an NGO based in Ghana has gone to the aid of the Cape Coast Metro Hospital, one of the hospitals managing the Covid-19 cases in the Central Region with food and personal protective equipment (PPEs).
The human development-focused organization, aside the supply of the personal protective equipment, is giving the facility free meals every day for two months to enable them have the comfort to manage the cases that come under them.
The gesture by the organisation follows an appeal by the hospital to the general public for support.
